Reservations and Payments
Full payment is required for reservations at the time of booking in the currency of the property, sterling, by credit card or in one of the other accepted currencies by Master or Visa Card.
Please note that when a booking request and payment details are taken at the time of the reservation, your payment card details are verified and an authorisation request is sent for the required amount. We will confirm availability and will advise you if your reservation has been confirmed. If the accommodation is not available, however, the previous authorisation request may still be showing against your payment card’s line of credit or available to spend amount. This is standard practice and does not mean that any funds have been taken from your account. We would advise that you contact your bankcard issuer to confirm when the authorisation request will automatically be removed from your account. This is typically between seven and ten days from the original authorisation request date, but can vary amongst different card issuers. Should we of necessity have to change your reservation in any way we will guarantee to offer alternative accommodation or a full refund. Should you make any amendments or alterations to a reservation, it may be necessary to make an administration charge.
Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation a full refund will be made on condition that notification in writing (e-mail if possible) is received (and acknowledged by us) 14 days prior to commencement of stay. In the event of a cancellation being received within 14 days prior to commencement of stay no refund will be made. Any exception to this condition will be made at our discretion. Non-arrival for a confirmed reservation will be treated as a cancellation after 24 hours. No refund will be made of an early termination of a reservation except at our discretion.
General
We will require a credit card imprint (or cash, if no credit card held) upon arrival against telephone charges, damage etc. All extras must be paid direct. All taxes are included in our rates. We shall be obliged to increase our tariff should government taxes be increased. We regret that we are unable to accept responsibility for loss of luggage or valuables, nor for injury or illness and therefore we strongly recommend that full travel insurance is purchased prior to travel.
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English Law.
